Online ADHD Assessment · 100% Virtual
No ADHD specialists near you? You don't have to keep waiting.
Licensed clinicians available by video, often within the week. No waitlist. No commute.
Sound familiar?
Local ADHD care is broken for most adults.
You looked for a local psychiatrist. You found 3-month waitlists, $1,500 assessments, and providers who barely see adults. The system wasn't built for people like you.
- ⏳ The nearest adult ADHD specialist has a 6-month waitlist
- 💸 In-person assessments often run $1,000–$2,000 out of pocket
- 📍 Many counties have no in-network psychiatrists accepting new patients
- 🔄 Your primary care doctor doesn't feel equipped to assess adult ADHD
That's why ADHD Advisor is entirely virtual. You see a licensed clinician by video, usually within a few days. Where you live stops being the thing that decides whether you get care.
The process
Three steps. Most people are seen within the week.
Complete a brief online assessment
Answer a few questions about your symptoms and history. Takes about 5 minutes and helps match you with the right clinician for your state and situation.
Book your video appointment
Choose a time that works for you. A $49 deposit reserves your slot. Most people find an opening within a few days, not months.
Meet with a licensed clinician
A 45-minute video session with a licensed clinician who will go through your symptoms and history with you. You'll leave with a clear picture of what's going on and what the next steps look like.
Transparent pricing
You'll know the full cost before you book.
We don't accept insurance, so there are no denied claims or surprise EOBs. You see the full cost right here. Superbills are available if you want to submit for potential out-of-network reimbursement, though what your plan covers is between you and your insurer.
Just the evaluation, without medication management. Useful if you want to know where you stand before deciding anything.
HSA and FSA funds accepted. If you opt into ongoing treatment after your assessment, monthly plans start at $130/month. Superbills available for potential out-of-network reimbursement.
What's available to you depends on your state. Your clinician will go through your options during the assessment.
What patients say after they stopped waiting.
From people who searched for local care and found this instead.
"Convenient and inexpensive, compared to a regular doctor appointment. Everything was straightforward and I felt heard."
"The doctor was great — really listened and took her time. Price is more expensive than I'd like to pay, but for the access and turnaround it was worth it."
"I requested an appointment and was able to get one in 2 days. The process was fast, but not rushed."
Based on verified patient reviews on Trustpilot. Individual experiences vary.
What to expect
We'd rather you know upfront than find out later.
- Is medication available through ADHD Advisor? That depends on your state and what your clinician thinks is right for you. Non-stimulant medication is available in all 50 states. Stimulant medication is an option in 18 states where clinicians hold full prescribing authority, but whether that's appropriate for you is a clinical decision your clinician will make, not something we can promise upfront.
- Do you accept insurance? We don't accept insurance directly. The initial assessment costs $199 total (or $149 for diagnosis only). We can give you a superbill to submit to your insurer for potential out-of-network reimbursement, though we can't guarantee what your plan covers. HSA and FSA funds are accepted.
- Who will I actually see?A licensed clinician, either a physician (MD/DO) or a licensed mental health professional, depending on which package you choose. They're independently licensed in your state and matched to you based on availability and clinical needs.
- What happens after the assessment?Your clinician will walk you through what they found and whether they think treatment makes sense for you. If it does, you can opt into a monthly plan that includes check-ins and medication management where available. No pressure to continue, and you're always free to take your results to a local provider instead.
- I already have an ADHD diagnosis. Can I just continue my medication?Yes. If you've moved states or lost a provider, you can book a medication management appointment. A clinician will review your history and talk through continuing your treatment. Whether they can prescribe the same medication depends on your state and their clinical judgment. In some states, stimulant medication isn't available through telehealth, but your clinician will walk you through what is available or refer you locally.
- Is an ADHD finding guaranteed? No. Your clinician will do a thorough assessment, but the outcome depends on your individual situation. Some people walk away with an ADHD finding, others get a different answer or a referral. We can't promise a specific result, and honestly, that's the point. If the answer were predetermined, it wouldn't be a real assessment.
