Doctor Kokayi was the most kind and personable doctor I have ever met. I felt comfortable speaking to him immediately. He genuinely made me feel seen and heard. I have had negative experiences with previous providers, who rush treatment and appeared disinterested, and this was a night and day improvement.

“A Life-Changing Experience”

I recently went to ADHD Advisor to get diagnosed with ADHD, and I'm so glad I did. From my first appointment to getting my diagnosis and managing my medication, everything was smooth and easy. The staff was friendly and really understood what I was going through. They listened to me and made sure my treatment was just right for me. My clinician has been great, always there to help me adjust my medication and answer my questions. I truly appreciate how much they care and the difference they've made in my life.

"Legitimate ADHD services"

No upselling here. I was assessed in 15 minutes and determined not to have the ADHD. Trust this service. I was not sure, but the experience has corroborated my trust. The therapist was courteous, prompt, and thorough.

“My experience was fantastic!”

My clinician did an excellent job of framing the diagnostic picture and different algorithms of a plan of care integrating both therapy and medication. I needed a lot of redirection as I tend to wander in answering questions, and the clinician was both tactful and effective at narrowing my responses to the intention of the visit.

ADHD in Women Is Often Missed — We Know What to Look For

Our clinicians specialize in recognizing how ADHD presents in women. Instead of obvious hyperactivity, it often shows up as:

  • Persistent overwhelm or mental fatigue
  • Forgetfulness, disorganization, or procrastination
  • Emotional sensitivity or burnout
  • Years of coping, masking, or “trying harder” without answers

With our structured online evaluation, you can receive a thorough, clinician-reviewed ADHD diagnosis and clear next steps.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if I have ADHD?

While many individuals can recognize potential ADHD symptoms in their own behavior, a formal clinical evaluation is required to determine whether assessment criteria are met and to explore treatment options.

The process can begin with an online assessment at ADHDAdvisor.org. From there, a consultation may be scheduled with a licensed provider who will review symptoms and determine whether ADHD is identified as part of the evaluation.

How do I pay for ADHD telehealth?

Transparent rates are offered, accept HSA/FSA, and support some insurance plans and Texas Medicaid. Insurance coverage will depend on individual provider, ADHDAdvisor will provide a superbill post-purchase that can be submitted to insurance providers.

How long will it take to receive my assessment?

For most patients, an assessment is provided by the mental health clinician at the end of the initial assessment. However, if the clinician needs more time to gather information or if the results are inconclusive, additional sessions may be required to ensure an accurate assessment. Also, assessments is not guaranteed, and your provider will only assess you with ADHD is clinically appropriate.

What are the next steps after my assessment?

Should you be assessed with ADHD, the provider who conducted your assessment will create a personalized treatment plan tailored to your symptoms and life goals. The treatment options may include Medication Management and Therapy to support you every step of the way.

Can stimulants be prescribed?

Stimulant medications are commonly used in the treatment of ADHD and must be prescribed and monitored by a licensed medical provider. Clinicians evaluate each individual carefully before determining whether medication is appropriate. Because ADHD symptoms can overlap with other medical or mental health conditions, a comprehensive evaluation is required prior to prescribing any medication. Treatment decisions are based on clinical judgment, medical history, and individual needs. The ability to prescribe stimulant medications virtually depends on state regulations. If permitted in your state and clinically appropriate, Providers may prescribe stimulant medications as part of your treatment plan.

Which conditions are screened during the assessment?

While specializing in attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), clinciians also have experience with a wide range of mental health conditions and needs. If seeking care for something other than ADHD, schedule an assessment to be matched with the right support. Services are available to individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD or executive function challenges. *Please note some assessments will not be supported by the platform.

How do I meet with my provider?

All visits will be conducted via a secure video conferencing platform.

How much is ongoing treatment?

This depends on your needs, but the standard Medication Management and Therapy subscription plans are $130 per month. If you and your clinican decide you'd benefit from additional sessions, those can be purchased and scheduled as well.

How often will I meet with my provider?

After your initial assessment, you will receive a personalized plan where you will decide the frequency of assessments that is appropriate for your needs.

What if I need to cancel my assessment?

If you need to cancel an assessment, please reach out to the support team at support@adhdadvisor.org In order to receive credit for a canceled assessment, minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to receive credit for a canceled assessment.
